Thunder In My Way
by Joel vance Ladanyi

Always there beyond the reach of hands, roaring loudly. Portraying power over
the skies. Rumbling on toward the ends of the earth,
Pressure packed shock waves pelting the will of the mind. Letting one know of
how we are truely alone within ourselves after our birth.
It is not after the simple wonderer nor stalking you and I as if we were game
in a hunt. Just casually strolling through on the way to nowhere,
Concieved of lightning the instant it streeks across the horizon. Already
there in the distance even before you can begin to fear.
I have lived through these natural phenomena more than once in my life. As a
matter of fact it came yet again to me on this day,
Through the voices of the angry it rambled on. Spit from the mouth of
confidence as it eagerly became thunder in my way.
