the moon wanes in its dark presence
i sense the night, unyielding to my touch
and through the silhouette of silken trees
i breathe you.
in the darkness, evil calls
and entity beyond all emotion
a scream fades into the black mist
it bleeds through me.
possessed by the daemon of my desire,
i dance oblivious to eyes that condemn,
eyes that hate.
and here burns the eternal fire
its flames brushing my face like fingers so gentle
but harsh in a night of such sorrow.
anger fades with the dark.
as the day breaks and the light comes,
i am myself as i used to be,
a crucifixion of the untold,
burning within your soul.
