Still Will I Pull Him Close
by Fiona Avery

I find myself amongst the wild, of beauty and of grace,
With not a soul around me, within my secret place.
The trees of fruit, the waters deep, the animals so grand,
Who talk to me and share their secrets, here upon the sand.
My dearest friend who I love most, lives deep within the sea,
Who carries me to distant lands, and dives far down with me.
She takes me into jewel filled caves, of where she likes to hide,
From those who want to see her, building proof on truth and lies.
We laugh and play amongst the waves, with others of her kind,
This is my place of happiness, found deep within my mind.
