A Poem for Jimmy

Love died in a Porsche.

A Poem for Jimmy

He cried out with a passionate plea
when I said goodbye
forever

Those beautiful brooding eyes
haunt me still
His soul was too aesthetic, his heart—
to hard to hold

Darkness threatened his thoughts
His mind was unpredictable

Abandoned Indiana souls live life
longing for acceptance,
Pale green eyes love fast

I was afraid (terrified)
He was vulnerable and powerless

Too compelling
