Roland Icking

As you may have noticed, Mr. Icking's work often contains creative variations on reality. His pencil drawing gallery presents impossible but truly imaginative and inquisitive scenes. Each scene presents an odd world and a thoughtful message, both worthy of exploring.

His painting gallery contains anatomical works that often explore perspective and reality distortions. His messages are focused, leaving vague impressions in place of irrelevant details. His flat hands and feet piece completely mesmerizes me.

A native of Borken, West-Germany, Mr. Icking has been studying painting and graphics at the Akademie der bildenden Künste in Vienna since 1999.
