Rustlings of the Wind by Invitation

Something About John V. Haynes

John V. Haynes is a writer and photographer based for the moment in Cincinnati, Ohio where he lives with his wife and three children. Simply put, he is a man in love with the written and spoken word and the inherent power that lies in both. His ultimate goal is to reach as many people as he can with his art and to be remembered as one who championed the causes of the individual, the underprivileged, and the underdog. He is a man hopelessly in love with his country of birth, America, in all of her beauty and ugliness, and is endlessly fascinated by her diversity and possibilities. He considers the Internet, although unrealized fully as of yet, to be one of the greatest advances in human history. He believes likewise that it is the duty of every individual to discover what they were placed on this earth to do and to pursue it with relentless passion, no matter the obstacles.

His work has previously appeared in several journals including, but not limited to, the In Posse Review on WebdelSol, Samsara Quarterly, Sendecki.com, Outsider Ink, and Spoken War. It is also scheduled to appear in several more throughout the year of 2002 including, but not limited to, Thunder Sandwich, Snow Monkey, Literary Potpourri, and Babel Magazine.

He is always interested in communicating with other like-minded artists and can be reached via e-mail at jvhii@mail2artist.com.

John is an editor of Rustlings of the Wind.
